Founded in 2018 in Montreal, Torngat Metals is dedicated to transforming the heavy rare earth industry, essential for the energy transition and the fight against climate change. Through our team of experts and global partnerships, we extract rare earth oxides responsibly, aligned with our advanced ESG-A vision.
Our approach focuses on health, safety, environmental protection and community collaboration. Our ambition is to make the Strange Lake project a model of sustainable development and social acceptability for the next 30 years.
We are committed to respecting local communities, creating positive impacts and reducing our environmental footprint. Our initiatives include improving water and waste recovery, using wind turbines, electric vehicles, reducing road transport and conducting in-depth environmental research to adopt best practices.
