Back-End Developer – Capital Markets
Location: Downtown Montreal, Canada
Work Model: On-site 2–3 days per week
Duration: 12 months (high possibility of extension)
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer with strong expertise in Java and a background in building high-performance applications.
Key Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21 (Java 21 preferred) and Spring Boot.
- Experience with GraphQL/SPQR, WebSockets, OAuth2/JWT, and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of distributed caching, enterprise messaging, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Experience with Flyway, JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted software engineering tools is highly desirable.
- Capital Markets experience (trading, financing, settlement, or transaction processing) is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in JVM optimization, multithreading, concurrency, or high-performance Java is an advantage.
Language Requirement:
- Excellent command of English is mandatory.

Nous recherchons un Développeur Back-End expérimenté possédant une solide expertise en Java et une expérience dans le développement d’applications performantes et évolutives.
Compétences et exigences principales :
- Solide expérience pratique avec Java 17/21 (Java 21 privilégié) et Spring Boot.
- Expérience avec GraphQL/SPQR, WebSockets, OAuth2/JWT et SQL Server.
- Bonne connaissance des technologies de cache distribué, de messagerie d’entreprise, de Kubernetes et de CI/CD.
- Expérience avec Flyway, JUnit, Mockito et Cucumber.
- Une expérience avec les outils de développement logiciel assistés par l’IA est fortement souhaitée.
- Une expérience dans les marchés des capitaux (négociation, financement, règlement ou traitement des transactions) est fortement souhaitée.
- Une expertise en optimisation JVM, multithreading, concurrence ou Java haute performance constitue un atout.
Exigence linguistique :
- Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais obligatoire.
- Seuls les candidats anglophones seront considérés.
