Description du poste:
Newmark est actuellement à la recherche d'un(e) candidat(e) pour le poste de consultant(e) en analyse de coûts, basé(e) dans nos bureaux du centre-ville de Montréal, pour rejoindre notre division de Conseil en développement. un(e) conseiller(ère) ayant trois ans d’expérience ou plus en estimation et/ou contrôle de coûts de projets de construction pour les aider dans une grande variété de tâches.
Responsabilités principales:
- Fournir une variété de services en analyse et estimation de coûts
- Préparer et rédiger des rapports en français et en anglais;
- Effectuer des visites de chantiers;
- Analyser l’avancement des travaux.
Compétences techniques et relations interpersonnelles:
- Une personne qui est motivée et passionnée par la construction, organisée et respectueuse des délais à rencontrer. Le candidat devra aider le personnel senior à la préparation des rapports de suivi de coûts, à des estimations et autres tâches nécessaires;
- Bonne connaissance des méthodes d’estimation les plus utilisées (Masterformat, Uniformat et ICÉC);
- Compréhension générale des méthodes et matériaux de construction et des pratiques standards;
- Être en mesure d’analyser les échéanciers et les plans et devis à toutes les étapes d’un projet;
- Connaissances informatiques notamment avec les logiciels suivants : Excel, Word, MS Project, Timberline, CostX, On-Screen Take-off, Argus EstateMaster et Sharepoint;
- Capacité de travailler en équipe et de manière indépendante;
- Prendre des initiatives et faire preuve d’ingéniosité;
- Bonnes aptitudes à la communication en anglais et français;
- Aptitude à travailler de façon multitâche et à respecter des échéanciers serrés;
- Grand sens de l’initiative, sens de l’intégrité, de l’honnêteté et de l’éthique de haut calibre;
- S’efforce de livrer un travail et des services de très grande qualité aux clients (internes et externes);
- Projeter une image professionnelle;
- Habiletés prouvées dans la gestion, la planification et l’organisation de projets.
Exigences en matière d’éducation, de perfectionnement professionnel et d’expérience de travail:
- Trois ans d’expérience ou plus en estimation et/ou contrôle de coûts de projets de construction;
- Membre RICS, ICÉC, LEED ou en cours d’obtention;
- DEC en estimation, Certificat en économie de la construction, Certificat gestion de construction, l’association des estimateurs et des économistes de la construction du Québec (AEÉCQ) ou l’équivalent;
- Détenteur(trice) de la carte ASP construction et d’un permis de conduire – le/la candidat(e) sera appelé(e) à effectuer des visites de chantier et devra être en mesure d’évaluer l’avancement des travaux effectués.
The Opportunity:
Newmark is currently looking for a consultant, Loan Monitoring candidate with three or more years of experience in estimating and / or cost controlling on construction project to assist them in a wide variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a variety of cost analysis and costing services:
- Preparing and writing reports in French and English;
production of measurements;
preparation of cost estimates according to the progress of the plans;
construction loan supervision.
- Make site visits;
- Analyze the progress of the work.
Technical skills and interpersonal relationships:
- A person who is motivated and passionate about construction, organized and respectful of deadlines to meet. The candidate will assist senior staff in the preparation of cost tracking reports, estimates and other necessary tasks;
- Good knowledge of the most used estimation methods (Masterformat, Uniformat and ICEC);
- General understanding of construction methods and materials and standard practices;
- Be able to analyze timelines and plans and specifications at all stages of a project;
- Computer skills including with the following software: Excel, Word, MS Project, Timberline, On-Screen Take-off, CostX, Argus EstateMaster and Sharepoint;
- Ability to work in a team and independently;
- Take initiative and be resourceful;
- Good communication skills in English and French;
- Ability to work multitasking and meet tight deadlines;

Requirements for Education, Professional Development and Work Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in estimating and / or controlling costs of construction projects
- RICS member, ICEC, LEED or in the process of obtaining
- DEC in Estimate, Certificate in Construction Economics, Construction Management Certificate, Association of Estimators and Construction Economists of Quebec (AEÉCQ) or equivalent
- Holder of the ASP construction card and a driving license - the candidate will be called upon to carry out site visits and will be able to assess the progress of the work carried out
