IREI Canada is hiring for two positions in Real Estate Strategy & Underwriting
Impact Real Estate Infrastructure Canada (IREI) is a Canadian impact financial technology platform building common infrastructure to strengthen real estate decision-making, reporting and long-term stewardship across the impact sector.
We are growing our real estate strategy and underwriting capacity and are looking for people at two different levels:
Real Estate Strategy & Underwriting Lead
For an experienced real estate finance professional with strong underwriting, financial modelling and professional judgment who can lead technical analysis, challenge assumptions, communicate with organizations and partners, and help shape how IREI applies its approach in practice.
Real Estate Strategy & Underwriting Analyst
For an earlier-career real estate finance professional who is strong with numbers, Excel and financial analysis and wants to build deeper experience in underwriting, portfolio analysis and impact real estate. The Analyst will support financial analysis, modelling, portfolio reviews, research and preparation of underwriting findings while working closely with the Lead and the broader IREI team.
For both roles, we value strong communication, curiosity and an entrepreneurial attitude. We are looking for people who are comfortable learning, asking questions, working through ambiguity and contributing to a small team where the work is still being built.
Experience in real estate development, asset management, institutional investment, nonprofit or Indigenous organizations, or the public sector is an asset.
Both roles will initially be structured on a part-time / fractional basis, with room to grow as IREI develops.

Impact Real Estate Infrastructure Canada (IREI) est une plateforme canadienne de technologie financière à vocation d’impact qui bâtit une infrastructure commune afin de renforcer la prise de décision, l’information et la gestion à long terme de l’immobilier à impact.
Nous développons notre capacité en stratégie immobilière et en souscription et recherchons des personnes à deux niveaux d’expérience différents :
Responsable, stratégie immobilière et souscription
Pour une personne expérimentée en finance immobilière possédant de solides compétences en souscription, en modélisation financière et en jugement professionnel, capable de diriger des analyses techniques, de remettre les hypothèses en question, de communiquer avec les organisations et les partenaires et de contribuer à l’application pratique de l’approche d’IREI.
Analyste, stratégie immobilière et souscription
Pour une personne en début ou en milieu de carrière en finance immobilière, à l’aise avec les chiffres, Excel et l’analyse financière, et qui souhaite approfondir son expérience en souscription, en analyse de portefeuille et en immobilier à impact. L’analyste contribuera à l’analyse financière, à la modélisation, à l’examen de portefeuilles, à la recherche et à la préparation des conclusions de souscription, en travaillant étroitement avec la personne responsable et l’équipe d’IREI.
Pour les deux rôles, nous valorisons de solides compétences en communication, la curiosité et un esprit entrepreneurial. Nous recherchons des personnes à l’aise d’apprendre, de poser des questions, de travailler dans l’ambiguïté et de contribuer à une petite équipe dont le travail continue d’évoluer.
Une expérience en développement immobilier, en gestion d’actifs, en investissement institutionnel, auprès d’organismes sans but lucratif ou d’organisations autochtones, ou dans le secteur public constitue un atout.
Les deux rôles débuteront à temps partiel, sous forme de mandat fractionnel, avec la possibilité d’évoluer à mesure qu’IREI poursuit sa croissance.
