Through evidence-based research, education and policy analysis, the David Suzuki Foundation works to conserve and protect the natural environment, and help create a sustainable Canada. We regularly collaborate with non-profit and community organizations, all levels of government, businesses and individuals.

Our mission is to protect nature’s diversity and the well-being of all life, now and for the future.

Our vision is that we all act every day on the understanding that we are one with nature.

Today, our work focuses on three priority areas:

Climate solutions - We can overcome the climate crisis and create a promising future for all. Let’s work together to reduce greenhouse gas pollution, accelerate climate solutions and get Canada to act with ambition and urgency.

Thriving nature - Nature is everywhere, and we’re all part of it. When it flourishes, we thrive - but there are limits to what it can support. Let’s respect, protect and restore nature so it can sustain all life.

Sustainable communities - When we value connections to each other and nature, we all live better. Let’s reimagine communities to increase well-being and build vibrant, resilient societies that benefit everyone.
