Founded in 2001, Activa Environnement is an environmental consulting firm offering consulting services in environment and land management. Its clientele is comprised of, among others, private proponents, stakeholders from the municipal sector and governmental agencies. Its multidisciplinary team is made up of about twenty experienced professionals, such as forest engineers, biologists, agronomists, geomatics and teledetection specialists as well as forest and wildlife technicians. The company, based in New Richmond, possesses a branch office in Rimouski and in Campbellton, New Brunswick. It also has a division specialized in agronomy, Les Consultants Jean-Marc Paquet, also located in Rimouski.

Over the past few years, the company has particularly distinguished itself through the achievement of environmental studies in the provinces of Québec and New Brunswick, as well as elsewhere in Canada. Environmental studies in these cases were from projects of different nature and size, such as road construction, power line construction, identification and construction of sanitary landfill sites, updating of port infrastructure, tourism projects, and many others. In recent years, Activa Environnement has been particularly active in the completion of environmental studies linked to the implementation of wind farms in Québec and New Brunswick, as well as in other Canadian provinces.
