À propos du poste

Relevant directement de la Vice-présidence, Finances et Administration, le ou la contrôleur(euse) - finances joue un rôle central dans la gestion financière de l'organisation. La personne titulaire du poste est responsable de la planification, de la supervision et du contrôle des activités financières et comptables, tout en contribuant activement à la performance et aux orientations stratégiques de l'organisation.

Cette personne agit comme un partenaire d'affaires auprès de la haute direction et veille à maintenir une saine gestion financière, ainsi qu'à assurer le respect des normes comptables, des exigences fiscales et des obligations réglementaires applicables.

Principales responsabilités :

- Superviser l'ensemble des activités comptables, budgétaires, fiscales et de trésorerie ainsi que les contrôles internes.
- Préparer, analyser et présenter les états financiers, rapports de gestion et autres informations financières à la direction.
- Élaborer et administrer le budget annuel de l'organisation, assurer le suivi budgétaire et produire les prévisions financières.
- Analyser la performance financière et formuler des recommandations permettant d'appuyer la prise de décision.
- Mettre en place et assurer le suivi d'indicateurs de performance financière (KPI) et d'outils de gestion.
- Veiller au respect des normes comptables, des lois fiscales et des différentes obligations légales et réglementaires.
- Superviser, mobiliser, encadrer et développer l'équipe des finances.
- Optimiser les processus financiers, comptables et administratifs afin d'améliorer l'efficacité et la qualité de l'information financière.
- Collaborer avec la haute direction dans l'élaboration et la mise en œuvre de stratégies organisationnelles.
- Agir à titre de conseiller auprès de la direction sur les enjeux financiers et opérationnels.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe liée aux responsabilités du poste.

Profil recherché :

- Diplôme universitaire ou collégial en comptabilité, en finances, en administration ou dans un domaine connexe
- Titre professionnel CPA requis
- Plus de 5 années d'expérience dans un poste similaire en finance, comptabilité ou contrôle financier
- Solide connaissance des principes comptables, de la fiscalité et des contrôles financiers
- Bonne maîtrise des logiciels comptables; la connaissance d'Acomba constitue un atout
- Excellente maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, particulièrement Excel
- Expérience dans le secteur manufacturier constitue un atout
- Excellentes capacités d'analyse, de planification et d'organisation
- Rigueur, souci du détail, intégrité et haut niveau de discrétion professionnelle
- Leadership mobilisateur et habiletés démontrées en gestion d'équipe
- Excellente maîtrise du français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit

About the Position

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance and Administration, the Controller - Finance plays a central role in the organization's financial management. The incumbent is responsible for planning, overseeing, and controlling financial and accounting activities, while actively contributing to the organization's performance and strategic direction.

This individual acts as a business partner to senior management and ensures sound financial management, as well as compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

- Oversee all accounting, budgeting, tax, and treasury activities, as well as internal controls.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, management reports, and other financial information to management.
- Develop and administer the organization's annual budget, monitor budget execution, and produce financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and make recommendations to support decision-making.
- Implement and monitor financial performance indicators (KPIs) and management tools.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and various legal and regulatory obligations.
- Supervise, motivate, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Optimize financial, accounting, and administrative processes to improve the efficiency and quality of financial information.
- Collaborate with senior management in the development and implementation of organizational strategies.
- Serve as an advisor to management on financial and operational issues.
- Perform any other related tasks associated with the position's responsibilities.

Qualifications:

University or college degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
CPA designation required
More than 5 years of experience in a similar position in finance, accounting, or financial control
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial controls
Proficiency with accounting software; knowledge of Acomba is a plus
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus
Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills
Rigorous approach, attention to detail, integrity, and a high level of professional discretion
Inspirational leadership and proven team management skills
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
