Job Title: Database Administrator (Intermediate)
Location: Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months + two optional 3-month extensions
Hours: 36.25 hours/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a Database Administrator to develop and modify database code and SQL scripts, test and validate, and administer SQL Server databases.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Online Transaction Processing (OLTP).
- Online Analytical Processing (OLAP).
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Preferred Skills:
- Architecture/design tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc.).
- Collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Basecamp, Trello, G Suite).
- SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Source control tools (Git, Bitbucket, PVCS, Streams).
- Database management tools (TOAD, RazorSQL, TeamDesk, TablePlus, Knack).
Additional Assets:
- IBM DB2 administration, including database/schema creation, maintenance, sizing, standards, and environment management.
- SQL database encryption and encryption key management.
- Data classification.
- Test Data Management (TDM) tools and technologies.
