L'impact que vous aurez
- Exécuter des travaux d'entretien sur les sites des clients, en respectant les exigences en matière de santé et de sécurité.
- Vous serez chargé(e) de dépanner, de réparer, d'assembler, d'installer, de tester, de mettre en service et de démarrer de nouveaux équipements de production d'énergie.
- Construire et maintenir de solides relations avec les clients, en fournissant des recommandations sur les performances de l'équipement.
- Collaborer avec les équipes de vente, de marketing et d'ingénierie, en apportant son expertise en matière de service sur le terrain.
- Encadrer et guider les autres employés du service extérieur.
- Gérer les activités de garantie après la mise en service.
- Examiner, interpréter et commenter les spécifications techniques.
- Préparer des rapports techniques détaillés à la suite de travaux sur site.
- Veiller au respect des règlements, procédures et lignes directrices externes et internes applicables.
Votre expérience
- Familiarité avec la construction de sous-stations de services publics et les sites de travail.
- Formation professionnelle, diplôme universitaire dans un domaine technique (électricité, mécanique, etc.).
- Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine du service électrique sur le terrain ou une expérience pertinente dans le domaine des sous-stations/transformateurs.
- Expérience pratique de l'entretien, de la maintenance, de la mise en service et de la réparation de transformateurs de puissance et d'équipements de systèmes électriques.
- Excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de relations interpersonnelles.
- Solides compétences en matière de relations avec les clients et de résolution des problèmes.
- Orientation vers les objectifs et esprit d'initiative.
- Volonté de voyager et de travailler dans des conditions et selon des horaires variables.
- Permis de conduire canadien valide et dossier de conduite acceptable.
- Communication fréquente avec les partenaires internes et externes, les clients et les intervenants situés à l’extérieur du Québec. Connaissance de l’anglais, en plus du français, requise pour répondre aux exigences opérationnelles du poste et assurer une collaboration et un service à la clientèle efficaces.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Execute service work at customer sites, adhering to Health and Safety requirements.
- Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, install, test, commission, and start-up new power equipment.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing recommendations on equipment performance.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams, bringing field service expertise.
- Mentor and guide other field service employees.
- Handle post-commissioning warranty activities.
- Review, interpret, and comment on technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed technical reports following site work.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Familiarity with utility substation construction and work sites.
- Trade education, college, or university diploma/degree in a technical field (electrical, mechanical, etc.).
- At least 5 years of electrical field service experience or relevant substation/transformer experience.
- Hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing power transformers and power system equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-starter attitude.
- Willingness to travel and work under varying conditions and hours.
- Valid Canadian driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Frequent communication with internal and external partners, customers, and stakeholders located outside Quebec. Knowledge of English, in addition to French, is required to fulfill the operational requirements of the role and ensure effective collaboration and client service.
