ENGLISH VERSION

GAL Aerospace is a vertically integrated aircraft cabin interiors and aerospace services company. With over two decades of experience, we serve commercial airlines, OEMs, MRO operators, and aircraft lessors. At GAL, we pride ourselves on our speed, accountability, and ability to solve specific operator problems through certified solutions.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate our aerospace programs. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance to teams and project coordinators in ways that promote the company's culture of excellence and accountability. You will also oversee the progress of operations to ensure optimal results.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and have experience managing staff of different disciplines to produce timely results. You will be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.

Key Responsibilities

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for formulating, organizing, and monitoring inter-connected projects, while deciding on suitable strategies and objectives for each program. You will coordinate cross-project activities between different departments and lead project managers and other staff related to the program.

Developing and controlling deadlines, budgets, and activities will be a core part of your duties, along with applying change, risk, and resource management principles. You will assume responsibility for the program's people and vendors, assess overall performance, and aim to maximize ROI.

Additionally, you will resolve projects' higher scope issues, prepare reports for the Vice President of Programs, and report evaluation findings to the Executive Director with recommendations for enhancement. Finally, you will prepare the delivery schedule, provide it to operations, and manage drum beat operations to adhere to this schedule.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience as a Program Manager or in another managerial position, along with a thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods. Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation, change management principles, and MS Office is required, with a strong advantage for working knowledge of program/project management software like MS Project.

Outstanding leadership and organizational skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills in both French and English (bilingualism required) are essential. You must hold a BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field, and a PMP/PMO Certification.
