Brunel est actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) Commis comptable (Comptes clients / Analyste du crédit) pour le compte d’une entreprise pharmaceutique mondiale de premier plan située à Saint-Laurent, Québec.

Ce poste convient parfaitement à un(e) professionnel(le) des comptes clients minutieux(se), possédant de l’expérience en gestion des comptes recevables, recouvrement, rapprochements de comptes et service à la clientèle. La personne retenue jouera un rôle clé dans les activités de crédit et de recouvrement tout en collaborant étroitement avec les équipes du service à la clientèle, commerciales et les partenaires externes.

Il s’agit d’un contrat à temps plein de 12 mois, avec possibilité de prolongation selon la performance et les besoins de l’entreprise.

Responsabilités

Crédit et recouvrement

Effectuer les activités de recouvrement et maintenir de solides relations avec les clients.
Traiter les remboursements par carte de crédit de manière exacte et dans les délais requis.
Préparer les écritures comptables liées à la compensation (netting) et aux radiations de mauvaises créances, au besoin.
Effectuer les activités d’application des paiements et de compensation pour les grands détaillants et clients.
Utiliser les portails clients afin d’analyser et d’expliquer les déductions.
Soutenir le superviseur des comptes clients dans les activités de recouvrement et le suivi des comptes.
Participer à la résolution des problèmes de crédit et des litiges liés aux paiements.
Contribuer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue et aux revues de qualité visant à accroître la productivité.
Agir à titre de relève pour la préparation des rapports de déductions OTC et des remises bancaires.
Participer à la maintenance et à la mise à jour des données maîtres des clients, lorsque requis.

Gestion des comptes clients

Effectuer les rapprochements des comptes clients assignés et analyser les écarts.
Collaborer avec les équipes du service à la clientèle, les équipes commerciales et les partenaires externes pour assurer une résolution rapide des demandes des clients.
Maintenir une documentation précise et soutenir les activités de fin de mois.
Assurer le respect des politiques comptables et des contrôles internes.

Exigences

Diplôme universitaire en comptabilité, finance, administration ou domaine connexe, ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience.
De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en comptes clients, crédit, recouvrement ou comptabilité.
Bilinguisme français-anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
Bonne connaissance des principes comptables et des processus de comptes clients.
Maîtrise intermédiaire de Microsoft Excel.
Expérience en rapprochements de comptes, application de paiements et gestion des déductions.
Excellentes aptitudes en communication, en gestion des relations et en organisation.
Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement dynamique et à s’adapter rapidement aux changements et aux demandes ponctuelles.
Expérience en amélioration continue des processus.
Expérience avec SAP et/ou dans un environnement corporatif ou de services partagés constitue un atout important.
Autorisation légale de travailler au Canada.

Introduction

Brunel is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable / Credit Analyst) for a leading global pharmaceutical organization in St-Laurent, Quebec. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in accounts receivable, collections, reconciliations, and customer account management. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting credit and collection activities while partnering closely with customer service, commercial teams, and business process outsourcing partners.

This is a 12 months full-time contract, with potential extension based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

Credit & Collections

Manage collections activities and maintain strong customer relationships.
Process customer credit card refunds accurately and timely.
Prepare journal entries related to netting and bad debt write-offs as required.
Perform cash application and netting activities for large retailers and customers.
Access customer portals to investigate and explain deductions.
Support the Accounts Receivable Supervisor with collection efforts and account follow-up.
Assist in resolving customer credit issues and payment disputes.
Initiate process improvement opportunities and support quality reviews to enhance productivity.
Serve as backup for OTC deduction reporting and bank remittance preparation.
Support customer master data maintenance and updates when required.

Account Management

Reconcile assigned customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Commercial teams, and external partners to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries.
Maintain accurate documentation and support month-end activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Accounting.
Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes.
Intermediate Excel skills and experience with customer reconciliations, cash applications, and deduction management.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with process improvement initiatives.
SAP and large corporate/shared services experience are considered strong assets.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
