Job Title: Financial AnalystJob DescriptionThis Financial Analyst role supports the Sales organization through insightful reporting, analysis, and commercial finance support. You will analyze sales, margin, and profitability across customers and products, prepare forecasts and performance reports, and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and other business teams on strategic initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to move beyond transactional finance into business partnering, sales strategy, and executive decision support, with a direct impact on revenue growth and profitability.
Responsibilities- Support the Sales team by delivering timely and accurate reporting, analysis, and business insights.
- Analyze sales, margin, and overall profitability performance across customers, channels, and product lines.
- Prepare sales forecasts, projections, and performance reports to support planning and decision-making.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and other business teams on strategic initiatives and commercial decisions.
- Monitor and analyze promotions, trade spend, and customer investments to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
- Perform dealer and customer profitability analysis and margin reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support month-end close activities, including sales bonus accruals and related accounting entries.
- Track sales incentives, quotas, and compensation reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
- Conduct ad hoc financial and commercial analysis and provide clear recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Contribute feedback on tools and processes, including BizChat, to improve communication and efficiency.
Essential Skills- Strong financial analysis and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience.
- Solid accounting knowledge, including month-end close processes and journal entries.
- Proven experience in profitability analysis, margin analysis, and commercial finance.
- Hands-on experience with promotion analysis, trade spend analysis, and sales reporting.
- Ability to perform detailed sales analysis and dealer/customer profitability assessments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
- Practical experience working with SAP for financial and sales data.
- Experience using Power BI for dashboards, visualizations, and self-service analytics.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Capability to support forecasting activities and prepare accurate sales projections.

- Background in commercial finance, supporting revenue growth and profitability initiatives.
- Comfort working with trade spend data and evaluating the effectiveness of customer investments.

Work EnvironmentThis is a hybrid position that requires on-site presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on other days. The standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break. Overtime is generally not encouraged but may occasionally be required, particularly during month-end close periods. The dress code is business casual or smart attire. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside Sales, Marketing, and other business teams, using technologies such as SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel to build reports, dashboards, and analytical tools. The role offers a 12-month contract with the opportunity to apply internally for permanent roles, providing exposure to commercial finance, sales strategy, and executive decision support in a professional and growth-oriented setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $41.00/hr.
